1. Purpose
These Electrical design standards have been developed to standardize the electrical installation in plants designed by Company.
Applicable to standards:
- Symbols - BN-DS-E02
- Direct burial of cables - BN-DS-E03
- Cable identification - BN-DS-E04
- Conduit for cable - BN-DS-E06
- Above grade installation - BN-DS-E07
- Lighting and receptacle installations - BN-DS-E08
- Earthing - BN-DS-E09
2. Applications
Company standards shall always govern except in following cases
- When local standards or regulations deviate in so far that they are more severe than the Company standards.
- When a client prefers to follow his own or other standards
- When an Electrical Contractor can prove that in deviating from Company standards an installations of equal class can be made.
- However, the authorization for such a deviation has to be obtained in writing from the Engineer.
