Design standard of wooden insulation blocks for heat exchangers. Use this standard for study purposes only.
General notes:
- Wood to be usde shall be AZ0B of first quality with a nomal moisture content and only small seasoning cracks (max. 250 mm) - see NEN.3180 Art. 6.3.1
- The wooden blocks shall have smooth faces true to line an level and a 10 mm chamger on all edges
- Wooden blocks to be tagged with mark as indicated on this drawing
- For pertaining anchorbolts see also BN-DS-J31
- When this standard is used, the 'Standard for concrete plinths for heat exchangers' BN-DG-J8 is not applicable
- The minimum dimensions of the concrete plinths are equal to the dimensions of the wooden blocks plus 60 mm
