2 Drawings and DataDrawings and other technical data shall be furnished in quantities as specified in the invitation for bids.
2.1 Drawings and Data to Be Furnished with the Quotation
2.1.1 Outline drawing showing overall dimensions, weight, way of mounting, etc.
2.1.2 Test certificates for the floodlights E and R. For type R, a separate certificate for the lampholder is required.
2.1.3 Installation instructions.
2.1.4 Lighting curve for lighting intensities.
2.1.5 Kind of material, housing, cover and guard.
2.1.6 Technical description.
2.1.7 Standards, gas group and temperature class with which the items comply.
3.1 To indicate the degree of protection of floodlights and terminal box (es) with regard to the entrance of foreign objects and water, the German standard specification DIN 40050 has to be followed.
3.2 All floodlights shall be suitable for horizontal and vertical mounting outdoor, without any additional protection.
3.3 Floodlights shall be treated for application in a chemical and refinery atmosphere. Site conditions will be stated in the requisition.
3.4 Identification System
3.5 All floodlights shall be supplied complete with gland, capacitor for power factor correction, internal wiring, terminal block, internal earthing screws, ballasts, bulbs, mounting plates, glass guard, etc.
3.6 Restricted explosion proof floodlights shall be of a normal industrial design, however with an explosion proof lampholder. The lampholder shall be certified according VDE 0170/0171 E ExdIIT5. Terminals shall be secured against loosening by vibration.
3.7 Floodlights shall be compensated by means of internal capacitors in such a way that power factor of the floodlights shall be as indicated in the requisition.
3.8 Capacitors shall be mounted in the ballast housings.
3.9 All ballasts shall be supplied complete with housing, glands, terminals, etc. in the execution as specified.
3.10 All stuffing glands form part of supply and shall be suitable for PVC insulated. PVC covered cables, unless otherwise specified in the requisition.
