The PCC program has extensive report facilities. The facilities include printing of standard reports, exporting of Microsoft Excel ® format files and exporting of XML files.
The user can send from most windows the output directly to the printer. Printing is typicaly done from the pipe class summary sheet and from the calculation windows.
In Microsoft Excel ® the sheets can be further edited with for example a logo of the company. Please note that the changes in these spreadsheets cannot be imported into PCC. Further export is possible from the component detail data and the material data used.
The export to XML files is used to import and export the data from the pipe classdatabase. The XML file can be exported by User_1 and send via e-mail to User_2. User_2 can import the XML file and has an exact copy of the project, pipe class and settings as User_2. This feature is practical if only a part of the database is being edited at a remote location. The data can be edited and when completed it can be imported in the central database.
The user has maximum flexibility in extracting data from the PCC program. There is a possibility for experienced users to access the database and create custom reports. Contact the Red-bag developers for these possibilities.
The standard reports that can be exported are:
- Summary sheets, pipe/fitting, valve/gasket/fastener and notes
- Detail component data listing
- Calculation result listing
- Detail component calculation
The detail component calculations include:
- 'Flange'
- 'Pipe'
- 'Elbow'
- 'Miter bend'
- 'Reducer'
- 'Tee'
- 'Weldolet'
- 'Stubon & Stubin'
- 'Cap'
The ratings are checked for the rated fittings and valves during the overall and detail calculation execution. Calculation warnings and errors are shown on the screen.
The calculations are performed and printed according:
- ASME B31.1 (USA)
- ASME B31.3 (USA)
- ASME B31.4 (USA)
- ASME B31.8 (USA)
- EN 13480 (EU)
