One important step in building a pipe class is to select the applicable line sizes. The selected line sizes are used by PCC to limit the selection possibilities of the components and to prevent input mistakes by the user.
Open the Line Sizes edit window by selecting 'Tables' > 'Sizes' or the respective button from the toolbar.
Note that removing a line size will delete the corresponding components from the database. The user is not able to undo this operation.
The selected line sizes are automatically saved in the project database. The available line sizes indicate the sizes which are available in the database for the pipe components.
Custom line sizes can be added which can only be used for individual pipe calculations. The database will most probably not have associated fittings to execute for example tee branch connections.
The arrow buttons are used to select or deselect line sizes.
The default button will select the following standard line sizes (NPS - inches):
0.5", 0.75", 1", 2", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", 20" and 24".
